We are currently seeking a Senior-Level Aviation Planner:

Johnson Aviation is seeking a senior-level aviation planner to join our niche group of consultants that provide support and expertise to our clients. You will be responsible for leading complex land use and development projects, master planning and environmental efforts, and business and policy development on the local and federal level.  In this role you will mostly work from your home office and meet when necessary with the team and clients. Project offices will be set up as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in planning, aviation, engineering or related field; Master’s Degree in related field is preferred.

Experience preparing airport master plans, airfield layouts plans, airport land use compatibility plans, NEPA documentation, and Part 150 Noise Compatibility Plans. As project lead you will manage a variety of planning projects and assignments, and communicate directly with clients, stakeholders, sub-consultants, and policy makers.

Understanding of how to develop strong client relationships and expand business prospects in various airport and aviation-related markets. Skilled in developing project proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to interact with internal team, other consultants, and clients with respect and professionalism, and in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential; Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, GIS software, and airport planning and environmental simulation tools knowledge is preferred.

You will be responsible for assisting team members on complex land use and development projects, master planning and environmental efforts, and business and policy development on the local and federal level.  In this role you will mostly work from your home office and meet when necessary with the team and clients. Project offices will be set up as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in planning, aviation, engineering or related field.

Practical experience working both independently and in a team environment; an understanding of how to quickly learn a subject matter, self-start, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines; aviation experience is preferred.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to interact with internal team, other consultants, and clients with respect and professionalism, and in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential; Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and GIS software knowledge preferred.
